Helsinki, South Harbour - Finland

Helsinki - Southern Harbour with over 5.4 million passengers annually
Helsinki is the capital of Finland and the northernmost capital in the EU. Helsinki is located on the Gulf of Finland, close to Estonia and Russia. Helsinki is built on over 300 islands and has more kilometers of coastline. The islands are reached by ferry, boat or bridge, such as Suomenlinna, one of the world's largest sea fortresses and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Southern Harbour (Eteläsatama) is a central part of the maritime cityscape of Helsinki, located on the Gulf of Finland and surrounded by the districts of Skatutden, Gardesstaden, Ulrikasborg and Brunnsparken. It is Finland's largest passenger port, with over 5.4 million passengers annually. The port serves as an important hub for ferry traffic, especially to Stockholm and Tallinn, as well as for cruises. The webcam is presented by the Confederation of Finnish Industries Ek.
