Bodø is a city in northernmost Norway, located on a peninsula between the Vestfjorden and Saltfjorden in Nordland county. Bodø is located just north of the Arctic Circle and is the largest city in Nordland county and the second largest in northern Norway, after Tromsø. Bodø Harbour is a central hub in Bodø, located in Nordland county, Norway. The harbour extends from Rønvik in the west to Molorota in central Bodø. It offers a diverse infrastructure for both leisure and commercial shipping. Bodø is also an important port for Hurtigruten, the classic Norwegian coastal cruise line. Ferries from Bodø go to several destinations along the coast, including Stamsund and further south.
