Deerfield Beach, live camera placed under the water surface - USA

Life below the surface in Deerfield Beach offers both action and breaks
Deerfield Beach is a city in Broward County, Florida. It is located between Boca Raton and Pompano Beach and has a coastline on the Atlantic Ocean. Deerfield Beach was named in the early 1900s when the area was abundant in deer. Deerfield became a municipality in 1925 and was given its current name Deerfield Beach in 1939. The coastline is central to the city's identity, with a long fishing pier and several parks. Quiet Waters Park is a larger recreational area with water activities and bike trails. The city center contains historic buildings such as the Butler House and a local museum. Deerfield Beach covers just over 16 square miles (42 square kilometers), of which a smaller portion is water. The population was about 86,800 in 2020.
Broward County is one of Florida's most populous counties and is located in the southeastern part of the state. The county was formed in 1915 and was named after Napoleon B. Broward, who was the governor of Florida. The county seat is Fort Lauderdale, which is also the largest city. Broward County includes 24 incorporated cities and several smaller communities. The area is part of the Miami metropolitan area and has a population of over 1.9 million residents, making it one of the most densely populated counties in the United States. The economy is diverse and includes tourism, commerce, transportation, and culture. Geographically, Broward County extends from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Everglades in the west. This means that the county contains both coastal environments with beaches and marine activities, and large natural areas with wetlands and wildlife.
With the underwater camera at Deerfield Beach, located about ten meters below the surface at the international fishing pier, you can follow life around the pier's pilings, where different species of fish move in the current. Here you can see fish such as snapper, snook, barracuda and mackerel, but also smaller species such as porkfish and moonfish. The current carries both sand and plant parts with it, which means that visibility varies. Sometimes larger fish pass close to the camera, sometimes small groups swim by. You can also see how the light changes depending on the time of day and weather, which gives a clear picture of the changes in the sea. It becomes a tranquil insight into everyday life below the surface, where both movement and pauses are part of marine life.
