Funäsfjällen, The ski slope Smedbacken, Funäsdalen - Sweden

Funäsdalen is located in Härjedalen near the Norwegian border. Funäsdalen is part of Funäsfjällen, which together with the areas nearby offer an extensive ski system. Here you can find both alpine skiing and cross-country skiing. With a drop of over 300 meters (highest in Funäsfjällen) there is skiing here with both steep and challenging sections that require a little more, long lovely slopes and fun forest sections. The gondola lift links the mountain with the village. From the valley station in the middle of the village, the journey up to the top of Funäsdalsberget takes just under five minutes.
