Fårösund, Fårösund Trail - view towards the ferry to Fårö
Fårösund is located just over fifty kilometers north of Visby and here the ferry crosses over to Fårö. The Fårösund trail runs between Fårösund in northern Gotland and Broa on Fårö. The length of the ferry route is 1300 meters and the crossing time is approximately six minutes. The journey with the road ferry is free of charge and you do not need to book a seat. During the high season in summer, the regular ferries Bodilla and Kajsa-Stina are joined by Vivi.
