Located on the 103rd floor, approximately 1,300 feet (412 meters) above ground, Skydeck offers spectacular panoramic views of the city of Chicago and its surrounding area. What makes Skydeck particularly unique is "The Ledge" - four glass balconies that jut out nearly 4 feet (1.3 meters) from the building's facade. Here, visitors can literally walk into the air and stand on a transparent pane of glass with the entire city far below their feet. On a clear day, you can see up to 50 miles (80 kilometers) away, across the state lines of Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois.
