St. Anton am Arlberg is a charming alpine village located in the state of Tyrol in western Austria. St. Anton am Arlberg is surrounded by high mountains, deep valleys and endless views of the dramatic landscape of the Alps. The village is known worldwide as one of Europe's most legendary ski resorts. In the middle of St. Anton is the Galzigbahn, a cable car that transports visitors up to the Galzig mountain peak, located at an altitude of approximately 2,100 meters where the webcam is located. When you step into the Galzigbahn, you also step into a world of alpine adventure. In winter, it is teeming with skiers preparing to throw themselves into the legendary slopes. In summer, hiking enthusiasts take the lift up to explore green mountain slopes, flowering alpine meadows and quiet paths that lead to panoramic views and small, remote mountain huts.
