Cannes is an elegant coastal city on the French Riviera, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southern France. Cannes is most famous for hosting the Cannes Film Festival, one of the world's most prestigious film festivals, each year in May, where the Palme d'Or is awarded.
Boulevard du Midi Louise Moreau - a coastal street in Cannes, located in the western part of Cannes, in the La Bocca area. It stretches from Avenue du Général-de-Gaulle in Mandelieu-la-Napoule to Boulevard du Midi Jean-Hibert in Cannes. The boulevard is part of the departmental road 6098 and serves as an important traffic route along the coast. The boulevard's name honors Louise Moreau, a French resistance fighter and politician who was active during World War II. Boulevard du Midi Louise Moreau is known for its long sandy beach and promenade, making it a popular place for both locals and tourists. Along the boulevard are several restaurants, cafes and hotels, as well as access to public transport via nearby bus stops and train stations.
Plage Sud Aviation - a popular sandy beach located in the Cannes-la-Bocca district, just west of Cannes, at the foot of the Massif de l'Estérel. The beach is easily accessible and close to Thales Alenia Space, making it a well-known spot for both locals and tourists.
