Quai Laubeuf – a historic and modern harbor promenade in Cannes

Cannes is an elegant coastal city on the French Riviera, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southern France. It is located on the Mediterranean Sea and has a population of approximately 75,000. Cannes is particularly known for its luxurious atmosphere, yacht harbors, sandy beaches and exclusive shopping. Cannes is most famous for hosting the Cannes Film Festival, one of the world's most prestigious film festivals, each year in May, where the Palme d'Or is awarded.

Quai Laubeuf - a central quay in Cannes, located on the western side of the historic Vieux-Port. It stretches from Quai Saint-Pierre at the foot of the Le Suquet district to the modern BoccaCabana complex. Historically, Quai Laubeuf has been an important place for trade and shipping. As Cannes has grown in importance as a tourist destination, the quay has developed into a modern marina, now accommodating luxury yachts and serving as a departure point for ferries to the Îles de Lérins. Today, Quai Laubeuf is a vibrant place where locals, tourists and boaters meet.

Plage du Midi - one of the largest and most visited beaches in Cannes, located west of the central promenade La Croisette, along Boulevard du Midi Louise Moreau. The beach stretches for several kilometers and offers fine sand, a shallow coast and views of the Esterel Mountains. Plage du Midi is particularly appreciated by both locals and families, thanks to its slightly calmer pace compared to La Croisette. It is well-maintained, patrolled during the summer and offers proximity to the Cannes-la-Bocca train station.
